23cm (9") long, this heavy duty bread knife is specifically sharpened and scalloped on the right-hand side of the thick stainless steel blade to allow a clean straight cut with the left hand.

The non-slip blue handle is shaped for comfort.

Dishwasher safe; however for best results, we recommend hand-washing.

What a difference!

I'd always thought I was just incapable of cutting bread straight. It never occurred to me that the issue might be the knife. I bought this knife as a birthday present to myself, and was stunned at the difference it makes. Not only can I cut bread straight, I can also cut thin, delicate slices for sandwiches with no problems at all. If you or a lefty you love is into making bread, get this knife. Finally a happy baker.

My partner makes bread from scratch no bread maker or bread mix.
He had been having problems cutting the bread and had tried all sorts of knives
(he is left-handed) After a lot of muttering as he tried Ito cut a buckwheat loaf I decided his birthday was near so I hunted and found this NZ site.
